Meet the Beardlsey family, who decided to dress up as Tobias Fünke from Arrested Development this past Halloween. Yes — all of them. Mother Autumn (Mrs. Featherbottom) explains:
A lot of people have asked how we got our kids to do it. I don’t really know why they do it, they just do. Like I said, the show is part of our family, and has taught us that family is the most important thing (unless of course you mean of the things we eat, in which case it’s breakfast).

BEST.FAMILY.EVER
My husband, and I have submitted to Faces of Atheists a long time ago, (before we were married!), so I thought I would share our faces again :)
I am a computer engineering student who will be graduating at the end of the year. My husband graduated from college last year, and now runs a podcast, and does odd writing jobs here and there. I have been an atheist my entire life, and my husband converted from Catholicism when he was 18. We met in the atheist group my husband ran for three years. He started the “Smut for Smut” campaign where you trade porn for bibles, and created a community for other atheists on campus.
Last September, we had our secular wedding. I chose this picture, instead of one of just us, because everyone in this picture is also an atheist! We asked a friend to officiate, wrote our own vows, and roasted an entire pig for dinner. Since many of our guests were religious, I emphasized in my vows to my husband that the promise I was making was to him, and not some invisible sky daddy, or state entity.
—Hey you two, welcome back! Ah, a SECULAR wedding! How lovely. It’s really depressing to sit through a wedding that is all about god and you’re like, “But wait… what about the people committing their lives to one another?” Great photo! Thanks so much for sharing.
